For those clients and colleagues in the industry we may contact you if you are on our mailing list for events. We will keep such data until you notify us otherwise and/or withdraw your consent.

River Effra will collect and store the information you provide to us as part of the application process for a role at River Effra. We will process your personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy unless such processing conflicts with the requirements of applicable law, in which case, applicable law will prevail. We process this data for recruitment purposes and recruitment monitoring purposes only.

These purposes include:

-        Identifying and evaluating candidates for potential employment, as well as for future roles that may become available;

-        Recordkeeping in relation to recruiting and hiring;

-        Ensuring compliance with legal requirements, including diversity and inclusion requirements and practices.

Access to your information will be limited to only those River Effra staff involved in the recruitment processes at the organisation. We do not share or disclose any of your personal information without your consent, other than for the purposes specified in this notice or where there is a legal requirement.

How long will River Effra keep the information you provide?

We aim to keep personal information to the minimum necessary and delete it when we no longer need it. If we act as a processor on behalf of one of our clients, we will only retain the data for the duration of the project parameters.

 All such information is held securely on our server and deleted securely after the relevant timeframe has elapsed.

 We take our responsibilities very seriously to keep personal information secure. As such we take every reasonable precaution to ensure your information is protected from loss, theft or misuse. These precautions include appropriate physical security of our office, controlled access to our system, and use of secure internet connections when collecting personal information. We provide training to our staff who handle personal information to ensure that they look after all personal information properly.
